What are the tax implications of incorporating in California?

I have an internet business that I am thinking about incorporating. Should I incorporate this business in California where I am running it, or should I incorporate it elsewhere (since it is an internet business) for tax liability reasons?

You are choosing to incorporate so you can have liability protection. No matter where you incorporate you will pay Federal taxes. Where you operate you will pay State taxes. Where you incorporate you will use that State's body of law. So, unless you want to hire two attorneys when you get sued, stick with California.
