What do I have to pay taxes on through my H-1B visa?

I am working in the US on a H-1B visa. I know that I have to pay income tax on my source of income from the United States. But do I have to pay taxes on all of my income, including the income that I have made from overseas while I was working in the US?

The short answer is yes, because the principal place for doing business has always been in the USA, while you have had the H-1B. So your income is with your American company, so you may as well be doing business in the USA, for tax purposes.
